Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no compensation for an injury caused by an animal, one who falls into a well is pardoned, and the blood of one who dies in a mine is also pardoned, and one-fifth (of the treasure) belongs to the public treasury (Bayt al-Mal)."

Brief Explanation
(Commentary on Hadith 1705)
According to the most authentic opinions, rikaz is the ancient buried treasure that someone finds somewhere, and one-fifth of it will be given to the Bayt al-Mal (public treasury).
From this hadith, it is understood that if an animal kills someone, there is no compensation (blood money) for it. Similarly, if a person falls into a well, there is also no compensation for it, and if someone falls into a mine and dies, there is also no compensation for it.
