باب مَا لاَ يَجِبُ فِيهِ الصَّدَقَةُ مِنَ الْحُبُوبِ وَالْوَرِقِ وَالذَّهَبِ:Chapter: Crops, Silver, and Gold Not Liable for Zakat
Hadith 1672
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيل بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عُمَارَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "لَيْسَ فِيمَا دُونَ خَمْسَةِ أَوْسُقٍ صَدَقَةٌ مِنْ حَبٍّ وَلَا تَمْرٍ، وَلَا فِيمَا دُونَ خَمْسِ أَوَاقٍ صَدَقَةٌ، وَلَا فِيمَا دُونَ خَمْسِ ذَوْدٍ صَدَقَةٌ".
Sayyiduna Abu Sa‘id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “There is no zakat on grain (crops) and dates less than five wasq, nor is there zakat on silver less than five uqiyyah, and nor is zakat obligatory on camels less than five.”
