Hadith 1670

حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ: عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دِينَارٍ أَخْبَرَنِي، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنَ يَسَارٍ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ عِرَاكِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: "لَيْسَ عَلَى فَرَسِ الْمُسْلِمِ وَلَا عَلَى غُلَامِهِ صَدَقَةٌ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no zakat on a Muslim's horse or slave."
