Hadith 1665

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق الْفَزَارِيِّ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ حُسَيْنٍ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، نَحْوَهُ.
With this chain as well, Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated in the same manner.

From the hadith of the chapter, the nisab (minimum threshold) for zakat on camels is known: for five camels, one goat; for ten, two; for fifteen, three; for twenty, four; and for twenty-five, a bint makhad (one-year-old she-camel). For more than this, as mentioned in the hadith, there is no zakat on less than five.
