باب صَلاَةِ الْعِيدَيْنِ بِلاَ أَذَانٍ وَلاَ إِقَامَةٍ وَالصَّلاَةِ قَبْلَ الْخُطْبَةِ:Chapter: Eid prayer without call or iqamah, and prayer before the sermon
Hadith 1641
أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْلَى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: "شَهِدْتُ الصَّلَاةَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي يَوْمِ عِيدٍ، فَبَدَأَ بِالصَّلَاةِ قَبْلَ الْخُطْبَةِ بِغَيْرِ أَذَانٍ وَلَا إِقَامَةٍ".
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I attended the prayer with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on the day of Eid, so he performed the prayer before the sermon without any call to prayer (adhan) or iqamah.
