Hadith 1585

Sayyiduna Salamah bin Akwa’ (may Allah be pleased with him) said: When we would return after offering the Friday prayer with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), the shade of the walls would not be enough for us to stand in it.

Brief Explanation
(Commentary on Hadith 1584)

From this authentic and agreed-upon hadith, there is clear evidence for performing the Friday (Jumu‘ah) prayer at its earliest time.
This is the practice in Saudi Arabia.
And in all the mosques, the prayer is held at the same time.
It is not the case that in one mosque it is at twelve o’clock, in another at one o’clock, and in yet another the Friday prayer continues until two or three o’clock.
May Allah grant people understanding, ameen.
