Sayyiduna Alaa bin Hadrami (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The Muhajir may stay in Makkah for three days after performing Hajj."

Brief Explanation
(Commentary on Hadiths 1548 to 1550)
This ruling is only for the Muhajir (emigrant), that is, those who migrated to Madinah before the conquest of Makkah. For them, it was not permissible to stay in Makkah for more than three days before the conquest of Makkah. However, after the conquest of Makkah, this ruling was abrogated, and now any pilgrim, regardless of where he comes from, may stay in Makkah for as long as he wishes.
