Sayyiduna Urwah bin Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) informed him that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray while she was lying on the bed between him and the Qiblah, in the manner that a bier is placed (for prayer).

Brief Explanation
(Commentary on Hadith 1450)
From this hadith, it is established that if one’s wife is lying in front, there is no harm in performing prayer, as long as one’s attention does not go towards the wife. Furthermore, from this hadith, it is also established that performing prayer at home is permissible.
And if the bedding is pure, then performing prayer upon it is also established.
