أَخْبَرَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا أَزْهَرُ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، قَالَ: "مَا دَامَ عَلَى الْأَثَرِ، فَهُوَ عَلَى الطَّرِيقِ".
Imam Muhammad bin Sirin, may Allah have mercy on him, said: As long as a person acts upon the hadith, he is on the right path.
Brief Explanation

The meaning is that to act apart from the hadith of the Messenger (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) is misguidance and deviation.
O seeker, walk steadfastly upon the path of the Sunnah,
For this road leads straight to the Paradise of al-Firdaws.
