باب في الذي لاَ يُتِمُّ الرُّكُوعَ وَالسُّجُودَ:Chapter: One who does not complete bowing and prostration
Hadith 1365
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "أَسْوَأُ النَّاسِ سَرِقَةً الَّذِي يَسْرِقُ صَلَاتَهُ". قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، وَكَيْفَ يَسْرِقُ صَلَاتَهُ ؟ قَالَ: "لَا يُتِمُّ رُكُوعَهَا وَلَا سُجُودَهَا".
Sayyiduna Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The worst of people in terms of theft is the one who steals from his prayer." It was asked: O Messenger of Allah! How can someone steal from his prayer? He said: "By not performing the bowing (ruku') and prostration (sujud) properly (correctly)."
