أَخْبَرَنِي أَخْبَرَنِي الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ حُبَابٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي رَجَاءُ بْنُ حَيْوَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عُبَادَةَ بْنَ نُسَيٍّ الْكِنْدِيَّ، وَسُئِلَ عَنْ امْرَأَةٍ مَاتَتْ مَعَ قَوْمٍ لَيْسَ لَهَا وَلِيٌّ، فَقَالَ: "أَدْرَكْتُ أَقْوَامًا مَا كَانُوا يُشَدِّدُونَ تَشْدِيدَكُمْ، وَلَا يَسْأَلُونَ مَسَائِلَكُمْ".
Raja bin Haywah said: I heard from ‘Ubadah bin Nusay al-Kindi, he was asked about a woman who died among some people and had no guardian present. He said: I found a group who neither acted harshly like you nor asked questions like you do.
