باب في رَفْعِ الْيَدَيْنِ في الرُّكُوعِ وَالسُّجُودِ:Chapter: Raising the hands in bowing and prostration
Hadith 1285
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ نَصْرِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ الْحُوَيْرِثِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ "إِذَا كَبَّرَ، رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ حَتَّى يُحَاذِيَ أُذُنَيْهِ، وَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَرْكَعَ، وَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنْ الرُّكُوعِ".
Malik bin Huwairith narrated that when the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said the opening Takbir, he would raise his hands up to his ears, and in the same way when going into bowing (ruku‘) and when raising his head from bowing, he would perform the raising of the hands (raf‘ al-yadayn).
