باب كَرَاهِيَةِ الْفُتْيَا:Chapter: Dislike of Giving Religious Verdicts
Hadith 128
حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ , عَنْ عُمَيْرِ بْنِ إِسْحَاق، قَالَ: "لَمَنْ أَدْرَكْتُ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَكْثَرُ مِمَّنْ سَبَقَنِي مِنْهُمْ، فَمَا رَأَيْتُ قَوْمًا أَيْسَرَ سِيرَةً، وَلَا أَقَلَّ تَشْدِيدًا مِنْهُمْ".
Umar bin Ishaq said: Among the people before me, I found the companions of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, to be the most. I have not seen anyone with a more easygoing nature and less harshness than them.
