أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْلَى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ فِي الْمَرْأَةِ تُصِيبُهَا الْجَنَابَةُ، وَرَأْسُهَا مَعْقُوصٌ تَحُلُّهُ ؟، قَالَ: "لَا، وَلَكِنْ تَصُبُّ عَلَى رَأْسِهَا الْمَاءَ صَبًّا حَتَّى تُرَوِّيَ أُصُولَ الشَّعْرِ".
It is narrated from Ata’ (may Allah have mercy on him): If a woman becomes junub and her hair is braided, should she undo it? He replied: No, but she should pour water thoroughly over her head so that the roots are well soaked.
