باب في الْمَرْأَةِ الْحَائِضِ تَخْتَضِبُ وَالْمَرْأَةِ تُصَلِّي في الْخِضَابِ:Chapter: Menstruating Woman Using Henna and Woman Praying with Henna
Hadith 1127
أَخْبَرَنَا أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَمَّنْ سَمِعَ عَائِشَةَ سُئِلَتْ عَنْ الْمَرْأَةِ تَمْسَحُ عَلَى الْخِضَابِ، فَقَالَتْ: "لَأَنْ تُقْطَعَ يَدِي بِالسَّكَاكِينِ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ ذَلِكَ".
Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) was asked about a woman who wipes (performs masah) over hands dyed with henna. She replied: I would prefer that my hands be cut with knives rather than do that.
