A woman asked Lady Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her: Does a menstruating woman have to make up the missed prayers? She replied: Are you a Haruriyyah? We, the wives of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to menstruate—did he ever order us to make them up? Imam Darimi, may Allah have mercy on him, said: This means the pure wives did not make up the missed prayers.
