It is narrated from Mu'adhah (bint Abdullah) that a woman asked Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): Should any of us make up the prayers missed during her menstruation? Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) replied: Are you a Haruriyyah? We used to menstruate during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and we were not commanded to make up (the missed prayers).
