باب الْحَائِضِ تَوَضَّأُ عِنْدَ وَقْتِ الصَّلاَةِ:Chapter: Menstruating Woman Performing Ablution at Prayer Time
Hadith 1009
أَخْبَرَنَا أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيد، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي خَالِدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الصَّدَفِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ "يَأْمُرُ الْمَرْأَةَ الْحَائِضَ عِنْدَ أَوَانِ الصَّلَاةِ أَنْ تَوَضَّأَ، وَتَجْلِسَ بِفِنَاءِ مَسْجِدِهَا، فَتَذْكُرَ اللَّهَ وَتُسَبِّحَ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir al-Juhani, may Allah be pleased with him, that he used to instruct a menstruating woman to perform ablution at the time of prayer and to sit in the courtyard at the place of prayer, so that she may engage in remembrance and glorification (of Allah).
