Supplication after eating
Hadith 4039
- " كان إذا أكل أو شرب قال: الحمد لله الذي أطعم وسقى وسوغه وجعل له مخرجا ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Ayyub Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would eat or drink (any beverage), he would say: "All praise is for the One who fed and gave drink, made the food pleasant, and created a way for its exit."
