Silsilah Sahihah

Sudi says that I asked Marrah al-Hamdani about the statement of Allah Almighty: «وَإِنْ مِنْكُمْ إِلَّا وَارِدُهَا كَانَ عَلَى رَبِّكَ حَتْمًا مَقْضِيًّا» (19-Maryam:71) "Every one of you will surely come to it; this is with your Lord a decree which must be accomplished." He narrated to me that Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated to them this narration from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): "All people will enter Hell, then they will come out from it according to their deeds. The people of the highest rank will come out like a flash of lightning, then like the blowing of the wind, then like the running of a horse, then like an ordinary rider, then like a man running, and then like a man walking."
