State of punishment for monotheists in Hell
Hadith 3984
- " إن الله عز وجل يخرج قوما من النار بعدما لا يبقى منهم فيها إلا الوجوه، فيدخلهم الله الجنة ".
Sayyiduna Abu Sa‘id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Allah Almighty will take some people out of Hell at a time when only their faces will remain (i.e., the rest of their bodies will have perished), and He will admit them into Paradise.”
Hadith 3985
- (إن قوماً يَخرجونَ مِنَ النارِ؛ يَحترقونَ فيها إلا داراتِ وجوهِهِم، حتى يَدْخلوا الجنة) .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Some people, when they are taken out of Hell, their entire bodies will have been burnt except for their faces, then they will enter Paradise."
