Silsilah Sahihah

Sayyiduna Utbah bin Abd Salma (may Allah be pleased with him) says that I was sitting with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), when a Bedouin came and said, "O Messenger of Allah! I heard you mention the tree in Paradise called babool or keekar (acacia tree). I think that is the tree with the most thorns among us (its pricks are very painful, so what is the point of such a tree in Paradise)?" The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Allah, the Exalted, will create in place of every thorn something like the testicle of a castrated goat, and in it will be seventy kinds of food, and each one will have a color different from the other."
