Hadith 3955
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I entered Paradise and suddenly saw a palace made of gold. I asked: Whose palace is this? They said: It is for a young man from the Quraysh. I thought it would be mine (because I am from the Quraysh). Anyway, I asked: Who is that Qurayshi? They said: It is ‘Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him). Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Umar! If it were not for your sense of honor and modesty, I would have surely entered it.' Sayyiduna ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: O Messenger of Allah! Could I ever feel any sense of honor against you?"
