Silsilah Sahihah

Sayyiduna Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that an old woman came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: “O Messenger of Allah! Pray to Allah that He admits me into Paradise.” The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “O mother of so-and-so! No old woman will enter Paradise.” She turned away crying. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Tell her that she will not enter Paradise in the state of old age, because Allah the Exalted has said: «إِنَّا أَنْشَأْنَاهُنَّ إِنْشَاءً ٭ فَجَعَلْنَاهُنَّ أَبْكَارًا ٭ عُرُبًا أَتْرَابًا» (56-al-Waqi‘ah:35) ‘Indeed, We have created them [their wives] in a special creation, and made them virgins, loving and of equal age.’” (That is, the old woman will enter Paradise as a young woman.)
