Moses (AS) was given the Tablets, division of Quranic surahs
Hadith 3835
- " أوتي موسى عليه السلام الألواح، وأوتيت المثاني ".
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Musa (peace be upon him) was given the tablets (of the Torah), and I was given the Mathani (portion) of the Qur'an."
