Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Sayyiduna Abu Dharr Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I entered Masjid al-Haram and saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) alone, so I came and sat beside him. I said: O Messenger of Allah! Which verse is the greatest that has been revealed to you? The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Ayat al-Kursi." (The vastness of Allah’s) Kursi compared to the seven heavens is like a ring thrown in a desert, and the magnitude of the (Divine) Throne compared to the Kursi is like the desert compared to that ring.
