Women Are Also a Trial, But Why?
Hadith 3778
- " ما تركت بعدي فتنة أضر على الرجال من النساء ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Usamah bin Zaid bin Harithah and Saeed bin Zaid bin Amr bin Nufail (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "After me, I have not left any trial more dangerous for men than women."
Hadith 3779
- " إن الدنيا خضرة حلوة وإن الله عز وجل مستخلفكم فيها لينظر كيف تعملون، فاتقوا الدنيا واتقوا النساء، فإن أول فتنة بني إسرائيل كانت في النساء ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Indeed, the world is lush and sweet (attractive), and Allah Almighty has made you successors in it so that He may see how you act. So beware of the world and of women, for the first trial among the Children of Israel occurred because of women."
