Those Who Were Full in the World Will Be Hungry on Judgment Day
Hadith 3774
- (إن أطول الناس جوعاً يوم القيامة؛ أكثرهم شبعاً في الدنيا)
Sayyiduna Abu Juhaifah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I belched in the presence of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace be upon him) said: "Abu Juhaifah! What have you eaten?" I replied: Bread and meat. He (peace be upon him) said: "On the Day of Resurrection, the hungriest people will be those who used to eat their fill in the world."
Hadith 3775
- " كف عنا جشاءك، فإن أكثرهم شبعا في الدنيا، أطولهم جوعا يوم القيامة ".
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that a man belched in the presence of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: "Keep your belching away from us, for indeed those who are most satiated in this world will be the hungriest on the Day of Resurrection."
