Silsilah Sahihah

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), he states that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah Almighty will send a wind from Yemen, which will be softer than silk, and it will cause the death of every servant in whose heart there is faith equal to a grain."

Sayyiduna ‘Ayyash bin Abu Rabi‘ah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "Before the Day of Resurrection, a wind will blow and it will take the soul of every believer."

Abdur Rahman bin Shumasah Mahri says: I was with Muslamah bin Makhlad, and Abdullah bin Amr bin Al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) was also present with him. Abdullah said: The Hour will be established upon the worst of people, who will be even worse than those of the pre-Islamic era of ignorance. Whenever they call upon Allah, Allah will reject their supplication. Meanwhile, Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) came to them. Muslamah said to him: Uqbah! Consider what Abdullah is saying. He said: He has more knowledge than me. I have only heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "A group from my Ummah will continue to fight according to Allah’s command, prevailing over their enemies, and their opponents will not be able to harm them, until the Hour is established and they will remain in that state." Upon hearing this, Sayyiduna Abdullah said: Yes, (but there is one thing for sure) then Allah will send a wind with the fragrance of musk, it will feel as soft as silk, and every soul in whose heart there is faith equal to a grain will be taken by it, then only the worst people will remain and upon them the Hour will be established.
