Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Sayyiduna ‘Adi bin Hatim (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) declared Madinah to be prohibited from all four sides up to one barid, such that its trees are not to have their leaves shaken off (with sticks, etc.) nor are they to be cut, except that a stick may be cut for driving camels.
