Hadith 3561
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When Allah, the Exalted, gathers the servants in one place, a caller will announce: 'Let everyone join with their own deities.' All people will join with their respective deities. Some people will remain standing in their previous state. Allah, the Exalted, will come to them and ask: 'What is the matter, the people have gone and you are still standing here?' They will say: 'We are waiting for our Lord.' Allah, the Exalted, will ask: 'Do you recognize your Lord?' They will say: 'If He introduces Himself to us, we will recognize Him.' At that moment, Allah, the Exalted, will uncover His shin, and they will fall into prostration. This is the meaning of Allah's statement: 'The Day the shin will be uncovered and they will be called to prostration, but they will not be able to.' (Surah Al-Qalam: 42) The hypocrites will remain standing and will not be able to prostrate. Then Allah, the Exalted, will guide them towards Paradise."
Hadith 3562
Abu Zubair says: I asked Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) about the coming of the Day of Resurrection. In response, he narrated to me this hadith of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): "On the Day of Resurrection, we will be on a mound higher than the common people. The nations will be called along with their idols and deities; they will come one after another. Then, our Lord will come to us and ask: 'What are you waiting for?' We will say: 'We are waiting for our Lord.' He will say: 'I am your Lord.' We will say: (Remove the veil from before Yourself) so that we may see You. So Allah Almighty will appear to them, smiling, and they will follow Him."
Hadith 3563
Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When our Lord will uncover His Shin, then every believing man and woman will prostrate to Him, but those who used to prostrate (in the world) for showing off and for fame will remain (standing). Each of them will try to prostrate, but his back will become a single plank (stiff and unable to bend)."
