Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the sons of Abu al-As reach thirty men, they will find fault and deficiency in the religion of Allah, they will enslave the servants of Allah, and they will exchange the wealth of Allah among themselves." This hadith is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, Sayyiduna Abu Dharr al-Ghifari, Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah bin Sufyan, and Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them).

The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "I saw in a dream that the Banu Hakam bin Abu al-As were jumping on my pulpit like monkeys." This hadith has been narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah and Sayyiduna Thawban (may Allah be pleased with them both), and from Sa'id bin al-Musayyib in mursal form. Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated these words along with the aforementioned hadith: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was never seen laughing loudly until his death.
