Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever among my companions participated in Badr and Hudaybiyyah (events), he will not enter Hell."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the slave of Hatib came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and complained about Hatib, saying: "O Messenger of Allah! Hatib will definitely enter the Fire." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "You are lying, he will not enter the Fire, because he was present at Badr and Hudaybiyyah."
