Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that I sat in the company of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) more than a hundred times. In his presence, the companions would recite poetry and mention matters from the days of ignorance. He would remain silent or sometimes smile.
