Hadith 3390
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I heard three things from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) regarding Banu Tamim, and after these three things, I never bore any grudge against Banu Tamim. (Those things are:) (1) Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) had vowed to free a slave from the descendants of Isma'il (peace be upon him). Meanwhile, some people from Banu Anbar were taken captive. When they were brought, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "If you want to fulfill your vow, then free one of these slaves." That is, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) considered them to be from the descendants of Isma'il (peace be upon him). Once, some camels given in charity were brought to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and their beauty and elegance amazed him. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "These are the camels of my people." That is, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) considered them his own. He also said: (3) "They are fierce fighters in the heat of battle."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Ayyub Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him), the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The tribes of Aslam, Ghifar, Ashja', Muzaynah, Juhaynah, and Banu Ka'b are more sincere friends than other people, and their friends are Allah and His Messenger."

Hadith 3392
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that a man from Banu Fazarah presented a she-camel, which he had found in the wilderness, as a gift to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) reciprocated his gift, but the man considered the Prophet’s return gift to be insufficient and became displeased. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said from the pulpit: “Some Arabs present gifts to me, and I reciprocate according to my ability, but they do not value what I give (considering it insignificant) and become displeased. By Allah! From today onwards, I will not accept any gift from any Arab except a Qurayshi, Ansari, Thaqafi, or Dausi.”

Hadith 3393
Sayyiduna Amr bin Abasah Salami (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was presenting a horse one day, and with him was Uyainah bin Hisn bin Badr Fazari. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: "I am more knowledgeable about the affairs of horses than you." Uyainah said: "I am more knowledgeable about the affairs of men than you." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked him: "How is that?" He said: "The Najdi people are the best; they have raised their swords on their shoulders, adorned their spears on their horses, and wear striped cloaks." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You have spoken contrary to the truth; the Yemeni people are the best. Faith is found among the Yemeni tribes: Lakhm, Juzam, and Amilah. The Makool tribe of Himyar is better than Akil, and Hadramaut is better than Banu Harith. (And it happens that) one tribe is better than another, and one tribe is worse than another. By Allah! I do not care if both tribes of Harith are destroyed. Allah has cursed these four kings: Jamda, Makhusa, Musharika, Abda'a, and their sister Amardah." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "My Lord commanded me to curse the Quraysh twice, and then He commanded me to pray for mercy for them, so I prayed for mercy for them twice." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The tribes of Asiyyah, Qais, and Ja'dah disobeyed Allah and His Messenger." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "On the Day of Resurrection, with Allah, Aslam, Ghifar, Muzaynah, and their allied tribes from Juhaynah will be better than these tribes: Banu Asad, Tamim, Ghatafan, and Hawazin." Then he said: "Najran and Banu Taghlib are the worst tribes among the Arabs, and (compared to other tribes) the number of Madhhij and Makool tribes will be the greatest in Paradise."

Hadith 3394
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The men of the tribes of Aslam, Ghifar, Muzaynah, and Juhaynah are better than these two allied tribes: Ghatafan and Banu Amir bin Sa'sa'ah." 'Uyaynah bin Badr said: By Allah! To enter the Fire with Ghatafan and Banu Amir is more beloved to me than to be in Paradise with others.
