Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The two sons of ‘As—Hisham and ‘Amr—are believers."

Sayyiduna Talhah bin Ubaidullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Amr bin al-As is among the virtuous people of Quraysh."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Among the people, Amr bin Al-As is the one with the most safety and security."
