Hadith 3358
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) says that I was breaking a miswak from a tree for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). People began to laugh at my thin shins. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "What are you laughing at?" They said: At the thinness of his shins. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "By the One in Whose hand is my soul! In the scale, these shins will be heavier than Mount Uhud."

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that he was breaking a miswak from a miswak tree. He had thin shins, and due to the wind, his garment was lifted from his legs, so the people laughed. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked, "What are you laughing at?" They said, "O Messenger of Allah! At the thinness of his shins." He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "By Him in Whose hand is my soul! In the scale, they will be heavier than Mount Uhud." This hadith is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud and Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with them both).

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) says: When this verse was revealed: "There is no sin on those who believe and do righteous deeds for what they eat and drink, provided they fear Allah and believe and do righteous deeds, then again fear Allah and believe, then again fear Allah and do good deeds well; Allah loves those who do good." (Surah Al-Ma'idah: 93), the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to me: "It has been said to me that you are also among them."
