Hadith 3295
- (إنّي، وإيّاكِ، وهذين، وهذا الرّاقد- يعني: عليّاً- يوم القيامة في مكان واحد، يعني: فاطمة وولديْها: الحسن والحسين رضي الله عنهم)
Abu Fakhitah narrates that Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to us and spent the night with us. Hasan and Husayn were sleeping. (During the night) Hasan asked for water. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) went to our water-skin, drew water into a cup, and then brought it to give him to drink. (But instead of Hasan) Husayn tried to take the cup to drink, but the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not let him drink, and started with Hasan. Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: O Messenger of Allah! It seems that you love Hasan more? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is not so, (in fact) Hasan asked for water first (therefore he has the right to drink first)." Then he said: "I, you, these two, and this one who is sleeping (Ali, may Allah be pleased with him) will be in one place on the Day of Resurrection." By these two, he meant the sons of Sayyidah Fatimah, Hasan and Husayn.
