Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had a ring made of silver and had the words «محمد رسول اللہ» engraved on it and said: "I have had a ring made of silver, and I have had the inscription of «محمد رسول اللہ» engraved on it. None of you should have these words engraved on his ring."
