She said: "By Allah! Since I accepted Islam, I have not performed ruqyah on anyone." The Ansari went to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and informed him of everything Shifa had said. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called Shifa and said to her, "Present your ruqyah to me." She did so, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Perform ruqyah on the Ansari and teach Hafsa this ruqyah, just as you previously taught her writing."

When the illness of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) intensified before his death, I took his hand and began to pass it over him and recite this supplication. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) withdrew his hand from my hand and began to say: "O Allah! Forgive me and join me with the Highest Companion." Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) says: These were the last words I heard from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
