Hadith 3088
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah and Sayyiduna Abu Sa‘id (may Allah be pleased with them both) bore witness that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “When a servant says: There is no true deity except Allah and Allah is the Greatest, Allah Almighty says: My servant has spoken the truth, for I am indeed the only true deity and I am the Greatest. When the servant says: There is no true deity except Allah, He is alone, Allah Almighty says: My servant has spoken the truth, for I am indeed the only true deity, and I am alone. When the servant says: There is no true deity except Allah, He has no partner, Allah Almighty says: My servant has spoken the truth, for I am indeed the only true deity and I have no partner. When the servant says: Allah is the only true deity, sovereignty belongs to Him and all praise is for Him, Allah Almighty says: My servant is truthful, for I am indeed the only true deity, sovereignty is Mine and all praise is for Me. When the servant says: Allah is the only true deity and there is no power to avoid sin nor strength to do good except by His help, Allah Almighty says: My servant has spoken the truth, for I am indeed the only true deity and there is no power to avoid sin nor strength to do good except by My help. Whoever is granted the ability to say these words at the time of death, the Fire will not touch him.”
