Allah loves to be praised
Hadith 3085
- (أما إنّ ربَّك يُحبُّ المحامدَ) .
Sayyiduna Aswad bin Sari’ (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I was a poet. I said: O Messenger of Allah! I have praised my Lord. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Beware! Indeed, your Lord loves praises.” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not say anything more to me than this.
