Hadith 3076
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Recite the Mu'awwidhat (Surah Al-Falaq and Surah An-Nas) after every prayer."
Hadith 3077
An Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) says that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) recite this supplication a hundred times at the end of the prayer (or after it): "O Allah! Forgive me, accept my repentance, indeed You are the Acceptor of repentance, the Most Forgiving."
Hadith 3078
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever, after the Fajr prayer, says this phrase one hundred (100) times, while his feet are folded (i.e., sitting in the posture of Tashahhud): «لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ ، وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ، وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ ، يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ ، بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ» There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, He is alone, He has no partner, sovereignty belongs to Him, all praise is for Him, He gives life and causes death, in His hand is all good, and He is powerful over everything. Then, in terms of deeds, he will be the most virtuous among the people of the earth, except for a person who does the same or more than this (then his rank will be equal to or greater than his)."
Hadith 3079
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Shall I not tell you of something by which you will catch up with those who came before you, those who come after you will not reach your (rank), and you will be the best among all people, except for the one who does the same as you?” (The deed is:) “You should say «سبحان الله», «الحمد لله», and «الله اكبر» thirty-three times after every prayer.” This hadith is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, Sayyiduna Abu Dharr, Sayyiduna Abu Darda, Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas, and Sayyiduna Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them. The hadith of Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, which Abu Salih narrated from him, is as follows: The poor people came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and said, “The wealthy have taken the high ranks and everlasting blessings. They pray as we pray, and they fast as we fast, but they have more virtue due to their wealth; they perform Hajj, Umrah, Jihad, and give charity.” The narrator says: ... (the above hadith was mentioned). (Regarding the number of tasbihat) we fell into disagreement; some said to say «سبحان الله» thirty-three times, «الحمد لله» thirty-three times, and «الله اكبر» thirty-four times (and some said something else). I went to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and (mentioned the whole matter), so he said: “Say each of «سبحان الله», «الحمد لله», and «الله اكبر» thirty-three times.”
Hadith 3080
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: O Messenger of Allah! The wealthy have taken all the reward, (in that) they pray as we pray and fast as we fast, but they have extra wealth, so they give charity, and we do not have wealth so that we may give charity. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Abu Dharr! Shall I not teach you some words by which you will catch up with those who have gone ahead, and none among those who come after you will reach your rank, except one who does as you do? After every prayer, say thirty-three times «الله اكبر», thirty-three times «الحمد لله», and thirty-three times «سبحان الله», and at the end recite this phrase: «لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له، له الملك وله الحمد وهو على كل شيء قدير» There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, He is alone, He has no partner, to Him belongs the dominion, to Him belongs all praise, and He is over all things competent. Whoever does this, his sins will be forgiven even if they are as much as the foam of the sea."
Hadith 3081
Sayyiduna Ka'b bin 'Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There are some words to be recited after every obligatory prayer; the one who says or does them will not be disappointed, and they are: thirty-three times «سبحان الله», thirty-three times «الحمد لله», and thirty-four times «الله اكبر»."
Hadith 3082
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever says «سبحان الله» thirty-three times after every prayer, «الحمد لله» thirty-three times, and «الله اكبر» thirty-four times, these become a total of ninety-nine (99) words. On the hundredth time, he says: «لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له، له الملك وله الحمد وهو على كل شيء قدير» Allah alone is worthy of worship, He is One, He has no partner, sovereignty belongs to Him, all praise is for Him, and He has power over everything. Then his sins will be forgiven even if they are as much as the foam of the sea."
Hadith 3083
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zubair (may Allah be pleased with them both) says: When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would finish the prayer with salam, before standing up he would recite this supplication aloud: "There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, He is alone, He has no partner, sovereignty belongs to Him, praise is for Him, and He is powerful over everything. There is no power to avoid evil and no strength to do good except through His help. He alone is the true deity, we worship none but Him, all kindness and grace is from Him, all beautiful praise is for Him, there is no deity except Him, we are sincere in worshipping Him alone, even if the disbelievers dislike it."
