Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Sayyiduna Muhammad bin Munkadir رضي الله عنه reports that a man came to the Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم and complained about the terrors and anxieties he would see in his dreams. The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: "When you lie down on your bed, recite this: I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from His wrath, His punishment, the evil of His servants, the whisperings of devils, and from their coming near me."
