Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever, upon seeing a person afflicted with a calamity, says: 'All praise is due to Allah who has saved me from that which He has afflicted you with and has favored me over much of His creation,' then that calamity will not befall him."
