Order to Send Abundant Salawat on Fridays; Are Prophets’ Bodies Intact in Graves?
Hadith 3004
- " أكثروا الصلاة علي يوم الجمعة وليلة الجمعة، فمن صلى علي صلاة صلى الله عليه عشرا ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Recite blessings upon me in abundance on the day and night of Jumu'ah, for whoever sends blessings upon me once, Allah Almighty will send ten mercies upon him."
Hadith 3005
- " أكثروا علي من الصلاة يوم الجمعة، فإن صلاتكم معروضة علي. قالو: كيف تعرض عليك وقد أرمت؟ قال: إن الله تعالى حرم على الأرض أن تأكل أجساد الأنبياء ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Aws bin Aws (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Send abundant blessings upon me on the day of Jumu'ah, for your blessings are presented to me." The Companions asked: How will it be presented to you when you will have decayed (in the earth)? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah Almighty has forbidden the earth to consume the bodies of the Prophets."
