Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Abdullah bin Abu Talhah narrates from his father that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came one day and signs of happiness and delight were visible on his face. The companions said: We feel happiness on your face, (what is the reason?) He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "An angel came to me and said: O Muhammad! Would it please you that your Lord has said: Whoever from your ummah sends blessings upon you once, I will send ten mercies upon him, and whoever from your ummah prays for peace for you, I will send ten peaces upon him?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Why not (that is, I am pleased)."

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Send blessings upon me, for sending blessings upon me is a source of blessing for you, and also ask Allah to grant me al-Wasilah."

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever sends blessings upon me once, Allah Almighty writes ten good deeds for him."

Saeed bin Umair Ansari narrates from his father that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Whoever from my Ummah sends blessings upon me once with sincerity, Allah bestows ten mercies upon him, raises him by ten degrees, writes ten good deeds for him, and erases ten of his sins.”
