Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Sayyiduna Nu’man bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Whatever you mention of Allah’s glory in the form of tasbih «سبحان الله», tahlil «لا اله الا الله», and tahmid «الحمد للہ», these (remembrances) surround the Throne with humility; their sound is like the buzzing of bees, and they mention their (reciting) companion. So do you not wish to have a deed that keeps reminding (the Throne) of you?”
