Prohibition of Suddenly Returning to Wives After Travel
Hadith 2878
- (يا أيُّها الناس! لا تَطْرُقُوا النساء ليلاً، ولا تَغْتَرُّوهُنَّ) .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) returned from a military expedition and said: "O people! (When you are returning from a journey) do not come to your wives at night, nor should you come to them suddenly without informing them."
