Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Abu Mujliz says that Sayyiduna Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) entered a house in which Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zubair and Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Aamir (may Allah be pleased with them both) were also present. Ibn Aamir stood up, while Ibn Zubair, who was more serious and dignified, remained seated. Sayyiduna Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Ibn Aamir! Sit down, for I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: 'Whoever likes that people stand up before him, let him prepare his place in the Hellfire.'"

Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) says: There was no person in the world more beloved to the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) to look at than the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). But when the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) saw him, they would not stand up, because they knew that this was something disliked by him (peace and blessings be upon him).
